Position Overview:
The Lead Sales Executive is tasked with achieving set objectives that contribute to the overall success of the hotel. This role involves effectively identifying and securing new business opportunities.

The Lead Sales Executive will collaborate closely with the Sales Director to meet the revenue and market share targets for one or more hotel properties.

The sales focus may differ depending on the specific property assigned (e.g., Leisure, Business Travel, Group, SMERF). Additionally, this position will act as a mentor and trainer for the Sales team members.

Management-level personnel are expected to dedicate sufficient time each workday to fulfill their job responsibilities; for OEM personnel, overtime is applicable and calculated accordingly.


Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of 2 years of prior experience in Hotel Sales.

A valid driver's license for the applicable state is mandatory.


Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for negotiating, persuading, selling, and influencing other managerial staff, hotel guests, and/or corporate clients.

Experience in professional selling techniques is preferred: opening, probing, supporting, and closing.

Proficiency in general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, is required.

The ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial; strong organizational and presentation skills are necessary.

Core Duties:


Successfully achieve assigned sales and revenue targets, as well as solicitation call objectives, while also training and mentoring others to do the same.


Proactively engage in solicitation calls, conduct sales tours, and entertain clients specific to Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel (BT), and/or Groups as relevant to the property.

Analyze and assess trends within your market segment.

Approach all interactions with guests and employees in a friendly, attentive, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Comply with established regulations, company standards, sales standards, and sales metrics set by Aimbridge Hospitality.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the hotel's operations and policies, as well as those of relevant departments.

Maintain a strong presence in the local community and industry organizations as appropriate.

May assist in implementing and/or participating in special promotions related to direct sales segments, such as sales blitzes.

Attend daily, weekly, and monthly meetings, along with any other functions required by management.

Perform any additional duties as requested by the General Manager or Sales Director.

Property Overview:
This position is part of a dual-branded property. These sister hotels include Aloft El Segundo and Fairfield by Marriott El Segundo.

Compensation:
Minimum: USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Midpoint: USD $80,000.00/Yr.

Maximum: USD $90,000.00/Yr.
