Overview

As a Regional Sales Leader within our Solar Initiative, you will oversee a team of in-field solar representatives in major retail locations across your designated area.

Your role will encompass all facets of team management, including driving performance against program metrics, championing the brand, and offering coaching, mentorship, and leadership.

You will also assess performance and provide constructive feedback on your team's sales techniques to enhance outcomes. This position is crucial for ensuring our sales teams deliver outstanding customer experiences and achieve sales targets. Compensation:
$65,000-$67,000 annual salary plus bonus opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage the performance of your field team utilizing the Peak Sales model, which includes in-store visits, performance evaluations, collaborative selling, and other assessments as necessary.

- Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to team members to enhance skill sets aligned with overall program objectives.

- Direct program development and management; oversee program key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure timely creation and communication of all reports, including field and channel feedback, activities, and competitive insights.

- Organize training for new hires and execute staffing and scheduling of top talent in your market.

- Analyze market, territory, and store-level performance, collaborating with team members to create action plans that drive results.

- Recommend enhancements to services and products to maximize the sales potential of field representatives.

- Achieve KPIs and consistently strive to meet sales goals and program objectives. Convert client interactions into sales by thoroughly understanding the features and benefits of Freedom Solar products.

- Maintain a professional demeanor while representing our client and BDS.

- Travel within the assigned market up to 70% of the time.

- Complete all administrative duties and other tasks as requested by management.


Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.

- Experience: 3-5 years in retail management, field management, or territory management; prior experience in a field sales/retail environment is preferred. Experience in the solar or renewable energy sector is highly desirable.
