Job Title: Regional Director of Reinsurance and Sales

Job Summary:

The Regional Director of Reinsurance and Sales will be responsible for leading the sales and reinsurance efforts in the MidWest region. This individual will be responsible for growing new and current business through product sales and income development, as well as directing and managing the sales and income development team in the MidWest.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow new and current business through product sales and income development in the MidWest region.
  • Direct and manage the sales and income development team in the MidWest.
  • Reside in or relocate to one of the following US States: Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Colorado.
  • Travel within driving distance of your home, with limited overnight travel for company meetings, trade shows, and team support.
  • Manage the MidWest Region to grow the MidWest Sales team, sales processes, and dealer reinsurance product and income development training.
  • Build and maintain the sales team in the MidWest Region.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all reinsurance, warranty, and income development professionals and all staff designated to the MidWest region.
  • Establish annual and monthly objectives for the region and territories within the region and/or MidWest Team as well as the region.
  • Lead the training initiative for new reinsurance and warranty clients.
  • Regularly communicate with the Executive Vice President of Sales, product specialists, and administrators.
  • Make software recommendations to improve region's expenses and efficiency as well as productivity.
  • Review market analysis and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and work with marketing leadership to input on campaigns to accommodate the goals of the organization.
  • Represent the sales department to the executive team.
  • Provide input and analyze and control expenditures to conform with budgetary requirements.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
  • Attend executive meetings as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) from a four-year college or university.
  • Three years F&I Management experience.
  • General Management experience preferred but not required.
  • Individuals with a current dealer book of business and with established relationships with dealers are strongly preferred.
  • Military veterans with recruiting training and experience are strongly preferred.
