Position Overview:


The primary role of the Regional Sales Leader (RSL) is to efficiently oversee the daily operations related to the designated sales region, cultivate new client relationships, and enhance sales with current clients across all tiers.

The RSL is directly accountable for the management, upkeep, and status of the region concerning the execution of sales initiatives, profit augmentation, and comprehensive business direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Development: Nurturing, sustaining, and expanding existing accounts by establishing professional, progressive, and trusted connections with clients.
  • Lead Generation: Identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for incremental sales growth through new partnerships.
  • Training and Development: Conducting product knowledge workshops with dealer sales teams to promote the sale and accurate representation of Hunter Douglas products.
  • Business Expansion: Consistent efforts to market sample books, displays, and promotional materials to support and enhance regional sales.
  • Marketing Strategy Execution: Presenting all marketing and promotional initiatives to relevant clients while providing recommendations and support to grow the Hunter Douglas business.
  • Territory Oversight: Organizing the sales region into manageable Areas and Zones. Creating and maintaining Customer Profiles and establishing appropriate call frequencies for all accounts within the sales region.
  • Profitability Management: Balancing company profitability with sales growth and market share within the assigned sales region.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Utilizing available sales reporting tools to assess sales figures for the region to set objectives and goals for positive and progressive sales development.
  • Reporting: Keeping the Regional Sales Manager informed of significant activities occurring in the sales region through comprehensive weekly and monthly reports.
  • Conflict Resolution: Conducting thorough investigations into significant customer disputes within the sales region. Developing fair and equitable solutions to issues and making recommendations for resolution to clients and company management.


Additional Duties as Assigned

Who You Are:

The RSL operates largely independently and requires self-discipline to maintain productivity. Frequent travel is typical for most regions.

Effective management of company expenses within established guidelines is essential. A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are critical for employment.
