Position Overview:

The Vice President of Regional Services Sales is tasked with spearheading the growth strategy for services within the designated region. This role encompasses the formulation of the services go-to-market strategy, crafting a strategic account plan, building a robust opportunity pipeline, and securing the services business. The significance of this position lies in the ability of the Services Sales Leader to adapt to evolving priorities, leverage the strengths and address the weaknesses of their teams, and drive consistent year-over-year growth in services.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Leadership:

  • Collaborate closely with the services delivery leader and regional sales team to align on a strategic account plan and execute initiatives to meet regional services objectives.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new team members to ensure alignment with the region's services goals.
  • Provide education and sales enablement for regional team members regarding Trace3's service offerings.
  • Act as the regional champion for the Services Legends Program.
  • Lead collaborative efforts between engineering teams (Office of the CTO) and sales teams, including client proposals, scoping, and pricing, while being well-versed in Trace3's service offerings.

Sales Leadership and Opportunity Development:

  • Establish and maintain the ongoing measurement of the region's Annual Services Strategic Growth Account Plan.
  • Influence and take ownership of quarterly financial outcomes for the region.
  • Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast guidance to the regional General Manager.
  • Develop a tailored growth strategy for each client based on insights from sales representatives, Total Addressable Market (TAM), and Trace3's offerings.
  • Engage in client-facing meetings, representing Trace3's service portfolio effectively.
  • Offer feedback to engineering teams from a sales and client perspective, communicating trends and needs for standardized offerings across multiple clients.

Financial Oversight:

  • Conduct regular pipeline meetings with sales and delivery teams to review sales forecasts and enhance awareness of opportunity timing and staffing needs.
  • Drive the sale of offerings that ensure the region meets billable utilization targets.
  • Perform monthly and quarterly health assessments and business updates, communicating progress and recommending adjustments to achieve overall services objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or relevant experience in professional services management.
  • A minimum of 10 years in a related services environment.
  • Proven track record in scaling and profitably expanding a services business with a focus on predictable implementation and achieving core metrics.
  • Experience managing contract modifications and leading negotiations regarding contract scope, cost, and timelines.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of complex business operations.
  • Expertise in developing and delivering accurate sales forecasts on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Ability to build rapport and credibility as a strategic partner across various business units.
  • Highly skilled in conflict negotiation and problem-solving to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present effectively to C-Level executives.
  • Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel as necessary.
