As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will oversee the daily accounting functions of the organization, ensuring the integrity of the general ledger, conducting account reconciliations, and performing balance sheet analyses.

Your role will be essential during the month-end closing process, collaborating closely with the VP, Global Controller.

Additionally, you will partner with our international finance team and external auditors to guarantee that financial statements are prepared with precision and punctuality.

As a company backed by private equity, we operate both domestically and globally, seeking a Senior Accountant well-versed in US GAAP, capable of navigating the intricacies of a SaaS environment and a rapidly expanding organization.

We are in search of individuals with robust technical accounting expertise who are enthusiastic about enhancing processes to drive efficiency and automation.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily accounting operations, assist in the month-end closing process, and contribute to financial reporting and ad hoc analyses.
  • Collaborate with senior finance management and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately, and verify the correctness of journal entries and accounting classifications.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct monthly account reconciliations and perform detailed analyses.
  • Work closely with FP&A to conduct monthly financial reviews and analyses, assisting in annual budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures aimed at improving efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in evaluating, recommending, and maintaining appropriate internal controls.
  • Review and enhance existing accounting processes with a focus on optimization, automation, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA or CMA designation preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including a senior accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP standards.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite ERP system.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with global operations and multiple entities is preferred.
