Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated individual to fill the role of Accounting Support Specialist. This position is designed to assist a small yet dynamic accounting team in managing the financial operations of a growing international business. The successful candidate will provide top-notch accounting, reporting, and operational assistance to both internal and external stakeholders across various regions.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Process vendor invoices and payment requests in multiple currencies, utilizing Excel for accurate coding.
2. Manage vendor invoice requests associated with purchase order payments.
3. Review and validate expense report claims against receipts, ensuring proper coding and payment requests in various currencies.
4. Prepare month-end close general ledger templates in Excel.
5. Conduct dual currency reconciliations for general ledger accounts.
6. Assist in the preparation of payroll requests for different regions.
7. Organize and compile supporting documentation for financial transactions.
8. Gather necessary information in Concur for month-end closing activities.
9. Address ad hoc requests during the month-end closing process.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in a small business environment, covering general ledger and accounts payable functions.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP FI accounting modules or other ERP systems is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
- Ability to quickly adapt to the business model and operational needs of the organization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe PDF.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with a willingness to engage in an international business context.
- Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational abilities, capable of multitasking and thriving under pressure.
- Self-driven with a hands-on approach, able to work independently while meeting objectives and deadlines.
- Demonstrates reliability, flexibility, curiosity, and strong collaborative skills.
