The Senior Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in supporting various financial operations, which include, but are not limited to, the preparation and analysis of financial documents, account reconciliations, adherence to regulatory standards, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting principles.

This role is ideal for an individual who is self-motivated and eager to gain diverse experiences, ensuring continuous challenges and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and document accounting transactions on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to facilitate real-time business analysis.
  • Generate comprehensive weekly and monthly financial reports to aid in business evaluation.
  • Assist in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of account analyses and reconciliations.
  • Oversee and record corporate credit card transactions.
  • Support tax and regulatory compliance efforts, including the preparation of business registrations and filing annual reports.
  • Cross-train to serve as a backup for payroll, accounts payable, and cash receipts.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency improvements within the finance department.
  • Assist in the implementation of additional software and/or accounting modules as required, including the design, testing, and documentation of new processes.
  • Act as a champion for FlexTrades Core Values by promoting collaboration, innovation, and community engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, accompanied by relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in financial operations.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP standards and financial principles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High integrity and ethical standards.
  • Experience with Bullhorn and Sage Intacct is preferred.
