Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the R1 RCM team, the Senior Revenue Accountant will take charge of compiling, consolidating, and interpreting financial data. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts, bank statements, and financial reports.
- Identify and alert management to financial discrepancies, offering viable solutions to complex accounting challenges.
- Develop planning templates for Financial Planning and Analysis, assessing variances in projections and presenting findings to management.
- Oversee various aspects of corporate accounting, including fixed and intangible assets, accounting for foreign subsidiaries, and acquisition accounting.
Daily Activities:
- Engage in moderately complex accounting tasks and play a significant role in the monthly closing process.
- Assess current processes and reconciliations for potential enhancements, implementing efficient solutions as necessary.
- Contribute to larger accounting projects by managing smaller components and leading less complex initiatives.
- Communicate inconsistencies and issues to management promptly.
- Collaborate with departments across the organization to ensure timely and accurate representation of accounting information.
- Exercise sound judgment and business acumen, understanding the financial operations of supported departments and divisions.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls as part of the Company's SOX program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is necessary, with a preference for candidates with public accounting experience.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA, or a master's degree are preferred.
Compensation:
The base pay range for this position is $52,000 to $66,215 annually. Individual compensation will be determined based on role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
