As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements through data collection, analysis, and variance investigation. Your role will involve assisting in the consolidation and review of financial data for reporting purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support financial decision-making by providing timely and accurate financial insights to business leaders.
- Ensure compliance with local, federal, and international accounting standards by studying regulations and adhering to requirements.
- Maintain adherence to corporate policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Compile data for quarterly and annual public filings.
- Prepare special reports by analyzing variances, developing budgets, and creating forecasts.
- Act as a subject matter expert on financial reporting tools, including BPC and PowerBI.
- Undertake additional projects or duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or related financial roles.
- Strong analytical, strategic, and technical skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Solid understanding of fundamental accounting concepts, processes, and controls.
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive approach.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- Experience with financial reporting systems is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- A self-starter capable of working independently and collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks within established timeframes.
