Role Description

The Business Systems Administrator is a vital member of the Digital Services Management and Innovation (DSMI) team, responsible for managing IIR's essential business systems, including but not limited to Salesforce, SharePoint, event management systems (EMS), and learning management systems (LMS). This position also collaborates with the DSMI manager to identify, implement, and oversee new business systems necessary for IIR's operational and programmatic needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform administration tasks for Salesforce, EMS, and LMS, including managing user accounts, permissions, activity monitoring, rules, workflows, and reporting.
  • Assist with SharePoint administration, including site creation, maintenance, user permissions, and troubleshooting for end-users.
  • Support the customization of platforms to align with company-specific processes and workflows.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on business systems to ensure effective and efficient utilization.
  • Stay updated on business system releases, ensuring timely updates and leveraging new tools and features.
  • Assist in identifying, implementing, and managing new business systems that enhance IIR's operations.
  • Collaborate with Information Technology teams and programs to implement necessary features and functionalities for effective business operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with a minimum of 2 years of relevant business systems administration experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling 6 or more years.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and functionalities.
  • Proficient in creating Salesforce workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment

This position is primarily performed in a fast-paced virtual office environment, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer. Employees must maintain a quiet remote workspace free from distractions.
