Position Overview
MassGenics is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to oversee and manage critical information systems initiatives. This role involves a significant level of responsibility and requires a strong background in project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the delivery of business solutions that align with user acceptance criteria and departmental benchmarks by managing information systems projects comprehensively.
  • Facilitate the provision of dependable, high-performance business solutions and technical services by overseeing all facets of information systems projects.
  • Conduct risk evaluations and formulate response strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Assemble and lead project teams to create technical specifications and monitor project outcomes.
  • Coordinate the development of project scope, milestones, phases, and resource allocations.
  • Assess project progress by tracking activities, addressing challenges, providing updates, and suggesting necessary adjustments.
  • Compile technical reports to summarize project outcomes and trends.
  • Foster strong client relationships by managing expectations, ensuring effective communication, and delivering project results.
  • Safeguard the organization by managing sensitive business information with the utmost confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in managing information systems projects.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced experience with Microsoft Project Server.
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills, including leadership capabilities to guide, control, and manage multiple complex projects to completion.
  • Exceptional analytical, time management, and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to receive operational guidance on duties, service standards, and objectives.
  • Impact business initiatives positively through effective management of information systems projects.
  • Exhibit personal characteristics and professional standards that serve as a model for peers.
  • Provide guidance and act as a technical resource for less experienced project office staff.
  • Possess comprehensive functional and technical knowledge to meet professional standards and succeed in the role.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with various levels within the organization, including those less familiar with information systems terminology.
  • Plan and define the scope and complexity of multifaceted projects.
  • Utilize rigorous logic and decision-making methodologies.
  • Resolve defined issues and investigate known sources for solutions.
  • Employ creativity and flexibility to analyze and resolve challenges.
  • Conduct root cause analysis.
Compensation and Benefits
The targeted hourly rate for this position is $42-43/hour, based on various factors including education, experience, and specific job duties.
