Role Summary

The Business Systems Administrator is an integral part of the Digital Services Management and Innovation (DSMI) team, responsible for managing IIR's essential business systems, which encompass Salesforce, SharePoint, event management systems (EMS), and learning management systems (LMS). This position also collaborates with the DSMI manager to identify, implement, and oversee new business systems that are crucial for IIR's operational and programmatic needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Salesforce, EMS, and LMS, including user account management, permissions, activity monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support SharePoint administration by creating and maintaining sites, managing user permissions, and providing end-user troubleshooting.
  • Customize platforms to align with organizational processes and workflows.
  • Deliver end-user support and training to ensure effective utilization of business systems.
  • Stay updated on system releases and implement new tools and features as they become available.
  • Assist in the identification and administration of new business systems that enhance IIR's operations.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new functionalities as needed for efficient business processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience totaling six or more years in business systems administration.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and functionalities.
  • Proficient in developing Salesforce workflows, reports, and dashboards.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects and tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Environment

This role is primarily conducted in a fast-paced virtual office setting, requiring prolonged periods of sitting and computer work. Employees must maintain a quiet remote workspace free from distractions.
