Job Description:
Harris Geospatial Solutions is seeking a qualified candidate for the role of Lead, Government Compliance within our Supply Chain division. This position plays a crucial role in overseeing compliance with supply chain policies, procedures, and government regulations.

The Lead, Government Compliance will be responsible for monitoring supply chain operations to ensure adherence to FAR/DFARS/AMS regulations and industry standards, thereby supporting efficient and compliant operations across our material management and supply chain activities.

This is a full-time remote position that reports to the leadership of the Supply Chain Government Compliance team. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFARS/AMS regulations relevant to Supply Chain Compliance.

- Conduct internal reviews of the MMAS business system on a monthly and annual basis to maintain system approval.

- Prepare and present monthly leadership briefings regarding audit findings and metrics to foster continuous improvement.

- Ensure that corrective actions from internal reviews are effectively implemented.

- Provide guidance in the development and management of supply chain procedures that align with government regulations and best practices.

- Lead the Material Procedure Review Board, overseeing all changes to material policies and procedures.

- Offer ongoing support to material management teams regarding compliance requirements.

- Chair monthly cross-functional meetings for the Material Management Compliance group, assigning actions and disseminating updates on process enhancements.

- Support comprehensive audit activities, including preparation and participation in internal and external audits.

- Maintain accurate records in accordance with best practices and regulatory requirements.

- Engage in the development of systems aimed at improving operational efficiency and minimizing organizational risk.

- Identify opportunities for training and process improvements within the supply chain organization.

- Assist in training material planners and managers on compliance systems and regulations.

- Coordinate information for internal and external audits to uphold approved business systems.

- Stay informed about government regulations and L3Harris policies.


Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with at least 7 years of related experience. Alternatively, 13 years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.

- At least 6 years of experience in Supply Chain or a related role, or a Graduate degree with a minimum of 4 years in a relevant discipline.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Supply Chain supporting government regulations.


Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong prioritization skills and initiative to complete tasks.
- Experience with government regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and AMS.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with strong analytical skills.
- Proficient in gathering, analyzing, and presenting information clearly.
- Familiarity with material management and supply chain best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
