Role Summary:

We are looking for an Entitlements Manager who will play a crucial role in overseeing the due diligence process for land acquisitions and managing the entitlements necessary for new community developments. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including consultants and municipal authorities, to ensure compliance with zoning and engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee geotechnical, environmental, and related consultants to conduct essential due diligence for land acquisitions.
  • Review and finalize reports from consultants to identify and mitigate risks associated with land acquisition and development.
  • Prepare due diligence documentation and coordinate submissions with the land acquisition team.
  • Engage with City, County, and Federal agencies to address and resolve due diligence concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements by managing interactions with city officials, consultants, and community groups.
  • Facilitate the development process through effective coordination with development and operations teams.
  • Supervise the activities of consultants and subcontractors to ensure timely approvals and adherence to project schedules.
  • Collaborate with legal teams to draft and review development agreements and regulatory compliance documents.
  • Represent the division at public hearings and meetings to secure necessary approvals for development and construction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Land Planning, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
  • Comprehensive understanding of State and Federal development laws, environmental regulations, and local planning requirements.
  • Strong network and knowledge of the local market.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional analytical and writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills.
