About this Role

The SIOP Supply Chain Manager will take charge of formulating mid to long-term supply strategies that align with demand forecasts and financial objectives. You will lead the SIOP supply planning framework to enhance lead times, service quality, and inventory management. Your role will involve the development of comprehensive supply chain strategies that address capacity challenges and ensure a consistent supply to support business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct mid to long-term supply planning initiatives, including balancing supply and demand and conducting long-term capacity assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with Demand and Supply Chain teams to interpret and validate demand forecasts for a 3 to 18-month period, contributing to the monthly Executive SIOP while optimizing customer service and inventory levels.
  • Identify essential data requirements, metrics, and inputs that will facilitate informed business decisions throughout the SIOP process. Communicate changes in plans, risks, and overall performance effectively.
  • Lead monthly supply planning discussions with manufacturing and materials teams to ensure alignment between supply plans and demand forecasts. Facilitate decision-making regarding materials, labor, and resources necessary to meet demand over the SIOP planning horizon.
  • Work in partnership with Sales, Demand Planning, Material Managers, and Production Planning teams to generate solutions for capacity challenges and support long-term sales objectives.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on key SIOP supply metrics while ensuring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage long-term capacity assessments with scenario planning, identifying constraints and escalating issues for business consideration, along with potential solutions.
  • Proactively identify, address, and escalate supply chain risks, including production interruptions and inventory shortages.
  • Provide regular updates on supply status, risks, and opportunities to all key internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the Inventory Management Process for the designated business unit, collaborating with sites and business units to achieve DIOH targets.
  • Manage inventory for new and phased-out products in collaboration with key business partners through the product life cycle management process.
  • Play a pivotal role in E&O inventory assessments, conducting root cause analyses and developing action plans to minimize excess inventory.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of experience in Supply Chain roles, including SIOP, Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Materials Management, Master Planning, or Scheduling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Logistics.
  • Strong working knowledge of S&OE and S&OP with practical implementation experience.
  • MBA or master's degree.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience in inventory optimization.
  • Familiarity with advanced planning and inventory management tools and systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in MTO/ETO manufacturing environments.
