Administrative Coordinator

St. Theodore Greek Orthodox Church is in search of a dedicated part-time Administrative Coordinator. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our parish.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and a professional attitude. Responsibilities include:
- Managing phone communications
- Coordinating schedules
- Documenting contributions
- Handling mail and email correspondence
- Welcoming visitors
- Organizing files
- Performing various general office tasks
Additionally, the role involves creating weekly and monthly publications, as well as seasonal greeting cards, memorial acknowledgments, stewardship mailings, and financial statements. This position serves as a crucial support to the parish priest and the parish council.
QualificationsThe successful applicant should demonstrate:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with Orthodox Christian traditions and practices is a plus
- Knowledge of the Greek language is advantageous but not mandatory
This is a part-time position, requiring 20 hours per week, with a schedule of Monday through Friday, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Flexibility in hours may be available.
