Overview

We are in search of a seasoned Infrastructure Solutions Architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of high-impact architectural solutions that fulfill business needs and propel digital transformation. In this executive leadership capacity, you will manage a team of solution architects directly reporting to you. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of infrastructure architecture, encompassing network, storage, cloud, and security, along with a proven history of executing large-scale, intricate projects.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver architectural solutions that align with business requirements and adhere to enterprise architecture standards.
  • Lead the development of infrastructure solutions, including data center, network, storage, and cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify needs and define solution specifications.
  • Establish and communicate cloud governance standards that align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure infrastructure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems while meeting security and compliance standards.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize technology expenditures, focusing on cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality or performance.
  • Ensure compliance of all cloud and infrastructure solutions with relevant regulations and standards, assessing risks associated with technology choices.
  • Drive architectural decisions for the Infrastructure Technology Portfolio, directly impacting company performance.
  • Manage a team of Solution Architects, providing leadership, mentorship, and professional development.
  • Evaluate and select suitable vendors and technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Conduct architectural assessments and provide recommendations for enhancements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of cloud and infrastructure architectures, promoting best practices and providing necessary training.
  • Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the enterprise architecture where advantageous.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 12+ years of relevant industry experience, with at least 7 years in enterprise/solution architecture roles, emphasizing cloud and infrastructure.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure & GCP.
  • Experience with Linux and Windows systems.
  • Proficiency in DevSecOps and agile development methodologies.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including:
  • Data center design and operations
  • Network architecture and security
  • Storage solutions and data management
  • Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Security architecture (e.g., firewalls, access control, encryption)
Experience with infrastructure architecture patterns, including:MicroservicesService-oriented architectureEvent-driven architectureExperience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud environments.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective storytelling and presentation skills.Demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness in addressing business challenges.Ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners at all levels, including executive leadership, to identify business needs and formulate solutions.
