Overview


We are in search of a seasoned Infrastructure Solutions Architect to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of high-impact architectural solutions that fulfill business objectives and propel digital transformation.

In this executive leadership capacity, you will manage a team of solution architects who report directly to you.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of infrastructure architecture, encompassing network, storage, cloud, and security, along with a proven history of executing large-scale, intricate projects.

Specialized Skills and Technologies

- Infrastructure architecture frameworks and best practices

- Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

- Cloud migration and hybrid cloud frameworks

- Agile and DevSecOps architectural methodologies

- Scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Ansible, Terraform)

- Monitoring and logging solutions (Splunk, AppDynamics)

Primary Responsibilities

- Deliver high-impact architectural solutions that align with business needs and adhere to enterprise architecture standards.

- Lead the creation of infrastructure solutions, including data center, network, storage, and cloud computing strategies.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to comprehend their needs and define solution specifications.

- Establish and communicate cloud governance standards that align with organizational objectives.

- Ensure infrastructure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems while meeting security and compliance standards.

- Analyze and identify opportunities to optimize technology expenditures, focusing on cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality or performance.

- Ensure all cloud and infrastructure solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards, assessing risks associated with technology choices.

- Drive architectural decisions for the Infrastructure Technology Portfolio, directly impacting company performance and results.

- Directly manage a team of Solution Architects, providing leadership, mentorship, and career development opportunities.

- Evaluate and select suitable vendors and technologies, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

- Conduct architectural assessments and offer recommendations for enhancements.


Develop and maintain thorough documentation of cloud and infrastructure architectures and standards, promoting best practices throughout the organization and providing necessary training.

Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into the enterprise architecture where advantageous.

Minimum Qualifications

- 12+ years of demonstrated industry experience, with 7+ years in enterprise/solution architecture roles, focusing on cloud and infrastructure.

- Extensive knowledge and experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure & GCP.

- Experience with Linux and Windows systems.

- Proficiency in DevSecOps and agile development methodologies.

- Proficiency in containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including:
- Data center design and operations

- Network architecture and security measures

- Storage solutions and data governance

- Cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

- Security architecture (e.g., firewalls, access control, encryption)

Experience with infrastructure architecture patterns, including:
- Microservices

- Service-oriented architecture

- Event-driven architecture

- Experience with cloud migration and hybrid cloud frameworks.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

- Strong storytelling and presentation skills

- Demonstrated resilience and resourcefulness when faced with challenges in business contexts.


Exceptional ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners at all levels (including executive leadership) to elicit business needs and formulate solutions.


Nice to Have:
- Certification in architecture or related field (TOGAF, Azure Architect, AWS Certified Architect)

Physical Demands

Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or mobile device.
