Role Summary

The Sales Enablement Enterprise Architect is responsible for exploring innovative technologies and establishing the technological direction while ensuring alignment with business strategies and objectives. This role involves defining the integration approach for information applications and programs, with a focus on delivering well-architected solutions tailored for over 10,000 sales associates.

Core Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate comprehensive IT Architecture Plans.
  • Align business initiatives with the overarching Enterprise Architecture.
  • Conduct audits to ensure compliance with Enterprise Architecture standards.
  • Facilitate strategic discussions at the executive level and effectively communicate architectural strategies through presentations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in application development, database design, and platform efforts, ensuring project teams adhere to enterprise and IT policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
  • Oversee all Enterprise Architecture and governance activities.
  • Mentor Solution Architects to ensure adherence to enterprise architecture across all IT systems and platforms, effectively mitigating identified risks while meeting business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Create graphical representations and abstractions to model solutions.
  • Translate business strategies into actionable information strategies.
  • Stay informed on best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Specialized Knowledge
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), microservices architectures, and CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions).
  • Proficiency in both client-side and server-side technologies, including React, React Native, JavaScript, GraphQL, Apollo, and Java (with Spring), along with familiarity with Azure services.
  • Knowledge of CRM, CMS, and Commerce platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Adobe, Hybris).
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Commitment to remaining current with industry trends and contributing innovative ideas.
  • Ability to produce comprehensive architecture documentation detailing design decisions and system interactions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in the IT field.
  • Broad technical knowledge across various platforms rather than deep expertise in specific platforms.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and influencing executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategies into effective information strategies.
  • Analytical and strategic mindset with experience across different industry sectors, including familiarity with industries related to SGWS.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience in presenting and facilitating workshops.
  • Understanding of technology products, vendor strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Experience in modeling and representing organizational business requirements in a comprehensible manner.
Physical Requirements
  • Position requires significant time spent sitting and using a computer.
  • May involve occasional walking, bending, reaching, standing, and lifting up to 20lbs.
