Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Engineer with robust project management capabilities to enhance our Engineering, Construction, and Remediation Practice. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 8-12 years of experience in contaminant investigation, remediation, and wastewater management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit proficiency in technical writing, communication, data analysis, and scientific methodologies.
  • Lead field investigations and remedial design projects across various environmental media.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive work plans for remedial investigations and response actions.
  • Conduct performance assessments of industrial wastewater treatment systems.
  • Oversee project scope, timelines, and budgets effectively.
  • Engage with clients to foster business relationships and expand project opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance and control standards throughout project execution.
  • Balance multiple projects efficiently while maintaining a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite for project management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in environmental consulting, particularly in wastewater treatment and contaminant remediation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Solid technical acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience with various remediation techniques and familiarity with PFAS issues is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks related to solid waste and environmental compliance.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Michigan or the ability to obtain it is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and HAZWOPER certification are required.
