Position Overview: The Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives will spearhead a prominent Corporate Strategy division, directly reporting to the Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Transformation, and Business Development. This role is pivotal in supporting the Executive Leadership Team, various Corporate Functions, and essential business partners on a multitude of strategic and operational projects that align with the execution of a comprehensive, multi-year growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning: Lead the formulation and periodic refresh of the organization’s long-term strategic framework.
  2. Project Management: Oversee significant cross-departmental projects addressing critical strategic priorities at the enterprise level.
  3. High-Impact Initiatives: Drive strategic initiatives that align with key organizational priorities.
  4. Market Insight: Provide analytical insights regarding external market dynamics and competitive factors that may influence overall business performance and strategic direction.

What You Will Be Doing:

Facilitate the creation of our annual corporate strategic plan aimed at maximizing growth and profitability across our diverse revenue streams and brand portfolio.

Manage the Long-Range Planning process, collaborating closely with the Executive team and key functional leaders to ensure effective execution of initiatives that drive long-term growth.

Lead cross-functional projects linked to our Long-Range Plan, engaging with various departments such as Real Estate, Product Development, Marketing, and Financial Planning.

Oversee a portfolio of strategic projects that offer insights into market development, competitive advantages, and operational optimization.

Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis, leveraging insights from a variety of functional experts.

Manage a team of dedicated strategy associates, fostering a collaborative and motivating work environment.

Prepare detailed presentations and materials for the Executive Team and Board of Directors.

Collaborate with brand teams to identify strategic opportunities, informed by market research and consumer insights.

Qualifications:

10+ years of experience in strategy, consulting, or investment banking, particularly within the retail or e-commerce sectors.

Proven track record in developing and executing corporate strategies for large organizations.

Strong understanding of financial modeling and valuation principles.

Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to all organizational levels.

A visionary leader with a collaborative approach, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
