Position Overview:

The Vice President of Finance will oversee financial operations and departmental functions in alignment with established organizational policies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As the Vice President of Finance, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the financial stability and growth of our organization.
  • This role involves leading and mentoring the finance and accounting teams, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing development.
  • In partnership with the CEO and board members, evaluate organizational performance in relation to the annual financial plan and long-term strategic goals.
  • Oversee all agreements with partners and vendors to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Propose enhancements to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the organization’s financial data.
  • Design and implement systems that deliver essential financial and operational insights to the CEO, along with actionable recommendations for strategy and operations.
  • Engage with the board and committees to discuss trends, challenges, and modifications in operational models and service delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO, board, and senior management to formulate and execute strategic initiatives that align with the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow to support organizational objectives.
  • Direct long-term financial planning and cost management in accordance with the strategic plan of the organization.
  • Lead due diligence efforts for mergers and acquisitions.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Exceptional presentation skills suitable for board-level discussions.
  • Demonstrated experience in progressively responsible roles within finance and accounting.
  • A minimum of ten years of relevant experience in a senior financial leadership position.
