Business Development Executive

At Smartech Security Corp, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Executive with expertise in physical security solutions to drive sales growth and expand our customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for generating leads, attracting new clients, and closing deals. Your key responsibilities will include data gathering, proposal submission, building rapport with new and existing customers within your territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of physical security solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy, including the generation of leads through prospecting, networking, and cold calling
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential clients and understand their security needs
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Develop customized solutions based on client requirements and company offerings
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and project managers, to design comprehensive security solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and demonstrations to prospective clients
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients to close deals
- Support collection efforts
- Follow up with clients to ensure continued engagements and satisfaction, and to address any concerns
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market development
- Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with at least 3 years of experience in the physical security industry
- Strong understanding of physical security products and solutions
- Experience in lead generation, prospecting, and sales pipeline management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
