About the Role

The Branch Coordinator plays a critical role in overseeing daily branch operations to ensure exceptional customer service and compliance with established guidelines. Collaborating with the Branch Manager, the Coordinator leads a team dedicated to meeting sales and service targets while upholding the credit union's mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Branch Preparation: Ensure the branch is prepared for daily operations, assigning tasks, managing cash flow, and maintaining service standards.
  • Member Support: Handle member inquiries, open accounts, and process loan applications.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise branch staff, providing training, setting expectations, and monitoring performance.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve member issues with professionalism and efficiency, building strong relationships.
  • Product Knowledge: Provide accurate information on credit union products and services, cross-selling and promoting business growth.
  • Branch Duties: Perform various branch duties as needed, supporting overall operations and sales goals.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional college coursework preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of branch operations experience, including supervisory roles.
  • Skills: Knowledge of teller and loan policies, strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Physical Demands: Comfortable working in a fast-paced branch environment and capable of lifting up to 25lbs.
