Overview:


The Territory Sales Associate (TSA) is an essential role at Cordis, pivotal for expanding our sales and product presence.

In this position, you will take direct responsibility for smaller sales regions while collaborating with and learning from experienced Territory Managers overseeing larger areas.

The TSA role reports to regional leadership and is designed to evolve into a Territory Manager position based on strong performance and the successful achievement of territory goals.


Responsibilities:
Establish and nurture relationships while increasing sales with both existing and prospective clients.

Meet overall and specific sales/revenue targets as assigned.

Identify and pursue sales opportunities within current and new accounts (acute/non-acute).

Effectively strategize, forecast, and implement sales initiatives within your designated territory.

Work autonomously, with guidance and mentorship from your assigned Territory Manager.


Profile accounts based on clinical and economic factors, tailoring your sales approach accordingly. Clinical focus includes engaging with end-users such as Physicians, Nurses, Technicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Economic focus involves working with Supply Chain and procurement decision-makers to deepen established relationships and ensure comprehensive account penetration.

Conduct consultative sales meetings with Interventional Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, Neuro Interventionalists, and Vascular Surgeons; ensure the capability to provide lab and case support.

Develop and present complex, multi-product proposals and pricing strategies.

Lead all training and educational initiatives during account launches and routine maintenance visits.

Build and sustain strong customer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), key clinicians, and economic stakeholders.

Follow up on leads generated from conferences and senior leadership engagements to drive successful outcomes at the local level.

Possess advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a diverse range of projects.

Collaborate effectively with Cordis sales and marketing leadership, cross-functional teams, and field-based colleagues.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

1+ years of experience in medical sales or 2+ years as a Clinical Specialist in the endovascular field is preferred.

Proficient in MS Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.

Must reside within the assigned territory and be willing to travel as necessary to meet objectives.

Must demonstrate energy, enthusiasm, determination, and a goal-oriented mindset.

Thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

A valid Driver's License is required.

Authorization to work in the US is a prerequisite for employment. The company will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.

This position is field-based, requiring daily engagement in hospitals, medical offices, and other healthcare facilities within the assigned territory. Flexibility to work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) may be necessary based on customer and business needs.
