The Boeing Company is currently in search of a Cybersecurity Information Assurance Security Specialist to support critical Department of Defense (DoD) and Special Access Program (SAP) initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the formulation and execution of information security protocols for designated systems to align with program and enterprise requirements, policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures.
- Implement Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes in accordance with the Risk Management Framework (RMF), along with product development and maintenance for assigned systems.
- Conduct ongoing security compliance monitoring.
- Engage in security evaluations and audits.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations.
- Assist in identifying root causes, prioritizing threats, and recommending/implementing corrective measures.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance within the information security program team.
- Research and stay updated on industry knowledge and best practices regarding information security.
- Support the development of enterprise-wide information security policies, standards, guidelines, and procedures that may span multiple stakeholder organizations.
Work Environment:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work at one of the designated locations. Limited telecommuting opportunities may be available.
Security Clearance:
This role requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.
Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- IAM Level 1 DoD compliant certification (e.g., CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE, CISSP, CASP, CISM).
- 1+ years of experience utilizing security tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF), including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Currently hold a certification in good standing to satisfy IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).
- Experience with cybersecurity policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF): e.g., DAAPM, CNSSI 1253, ICD-503, JSIG, and/or NIST SP 800 series.
- Experience in assessing and documenting test or analysis data to demonstrate cybersecurity compliance.
- Experience working within the National Industrial Security Procedures and Operations Manual (NISPOM).
Education & Experience:
Typically, 5 or more years of relevant work experience or pertinent military experience is required. An advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Work Shift:
This position will be for the first shift.
