Information Security Specialist
Key Role:
Perform assessments and evaluations to uncover weaknesses and potential attack vectors within systems and networks, create exploits, and devise attack strategies. Utilize advanced consulting skills or extensive technical knowledge, including comprehensive industry insight. Innovate solutions to intricate challenges. Operate with minimal supervision, while mentoring and guiding team members.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, cyber tool creation, or reverse engineering.
- Familiarity with database development, web APIs, command and control software integration, and security evaluations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java, or web-based scripting.
- Capability to work autonomously with limited direction and manage complex projects within specified timeframes and scopes.
- Secret clearance required.
- Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science field.
- Security+, GPEN, or OSCP Certification.
Additional Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in programming and developing cybersecurity tools using various programming languages.
- Experience in creating hardware or software solutions, including Raspberry Pi prototype integrations with SDRs, and developing RF or Cyber effects for technical experimentation.
- TS/SCI clearance preferred.
- OSCP Certification preferred.
Clearance:
Applicants selected will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is mandatory.
