Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues and various government entities, including DoD, to engineer systems and strategize acquisition programs for space and ground systems.
- Assist the Space Force in integrating GPS User Equipment across a diverse stakeholder community.
- Provide expert technical guidance on M-Code GPS Security Certification processes for DoD acquisitions at the Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC).
This role offers a chance to utilize your analytical skills to formulate and enforce GPS User Equipment Security Certification protocols, assess acquisition documentation for compliance with governmental standards, and offer acquisition insights to government offices. Your contributions will be crucial in shaping operational plans for command and control.
Qualifications:
- Over 10 years of experience in DoD Information Assurance.
- Proficient in software system development, including test case creation and execution.
- Experience in Cyber Vulnerability assessments.
- Knowledge of DoD security systems engineering.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively in cross-functional team environments.
- Secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition systems.
- Experience with GPS and navigation technologies.
- Knowledge of Cyber Threat analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Experience with COMSEC and TRANSEC.
- Understanding of Zero Trust frameworks.
- Experience with emerging technologies in embedded systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- TS/SCI clearance is a plus.
- Master's degree is advantageous.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is essential.
