Cybersecurity Assurance Expert

Position Overview:
As a specialist in information assurance, you recognize the significance of proactive operations in the cyber domain. At Booz Allen Hamilton, your expertise in cyberspace operations will contribute to solutions that have a global impact. We seek a seasoned professional to leverage your knowledge in space systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various defense and governmental entities to engineer systems and strategize space and ground system acquisition initiatives.
- Assist the Space Force in the integration of GPS system User Equipment across a diverse stakeholder community.
- Provide technical Subject Matter Expertise to the M-Code GPS Security Certification Information Assurance processes for defense acquisitions at the Space Force Space Systems Command (SSC).
This role is pivotal in developing and enforcing GPS User Equipment Security Certification processes and procedures. You will evaluate acquisition documents to ensure adherence to governmental requirements, processes, and policies, while offering acquisition insights and guidance to government acquisition offices. Your contributions will be essential in formulating operational plans to support command and control.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in DoD Information Assurance.
- Proficiency in software system development, including test case development and execution of test scenarios.
- Experience in Cyber Vulnerability analysis.
- Knowledge of DoD security systems engineering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration in cross-functional team settings.
- Ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Possession of a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DoD acquisition systems.
- Knowledge of GPS and navigation technologies, systems, or operations.
- Expertise in Cyber Threat analysis and mitigation.
- Familiarity with COMSEC and TRANSEC.
- Understanding of Zero Trust principles.
- Experience with new technology programs for embedded systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Possession of a TS/SCI clearance.
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
Clearance Requirements:
Selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.
