The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Cybersecurity - Systems Security Lead to join our dynamic team.

The chosen candidate will leverage their expertise in cybersecurity and Information Assurance (IA) to serve as a technical authority, supporting enterprise initiatives and Boeing clients across various classified computing environments. The Systems Security Lead will be accountable for enforcing all Information System Security policies, standards, and directives to facilitate the assessment, authorization, and ongoing operation of information systems that handle classified data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough security evaluations of operational and developmental settings, identifying threats, vulnerabilities, and internal interfaces to ensure compliance with established industry and governmental standards.
  • Direct and execute the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) processes under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for both new and existing information systems.
  • Assist in the creation of Memorandums of Understanding (MOU), Interconnection Security Agreements (ISA), and Risk Acknowledgment Letters (RAL), while supporting Continuous Monitoring (CONMON).
  • Oversee the configuration management of assigned systems, auditing them to maintain security posture integrity.
  • Guide team members in assessments and analysis to document compliance with security requirements.
  • Perform risk assessments and investigations, implement appropriate risk mitigations, and manage incident response efforts.
  • Conduct regular hardware/software inventory assessments.
  • Act as the organization’s representative on advanced projects and programs.
  • Provide expert advice to management and clients on advanced technical research initiatives.
  • Collaborate with relevant government clients, suppliers, and company personnel to implement protective measures and ensure adherence to cybersecurity requirements.

Work Environment:

This position is expected to be fully onsite, with limited telecommuting options available.

Security Clearance:

This role requires an active U.S. Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Current certification in good standing to meet IAM Level III (CISSP, GSLC, or CISM).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience utilizing security-related tools, systems, and applications in support of Risk Management Framework (RMF), including NESSUS, ACAS, DISA STIGs, SCAP, Audit Reduction, and HBSS.
  • Active Counter-Intelligence (CI) Polygraph.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience.
  • 3+ years of experience as an information system security officer (ISSO) or information system security manager (ISSM) supporting classified programs.
  • 3+ years of experience with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) Assessment and Authorization Process Manual (DAAPM) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) security processes.

Typical Education & Experience:

Typically requires 9 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. An advanced degree (e.g., Bachelor, Master, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
