Client Overview: 24 Seven Talent is a leading recruitment agency specializing in connecting top-tier talent with innovative companies in the advertising sector. We are currently seeking a forward-thinking Media Director to spearhead our media division.

Role Overview: The Media Director will take charge of all aspects of media strategy, planning, and execution. This pivotal role demands a comprehensive understanding of the media ecosystem, exceptional leadership capabilities, and a strategic mindset to achieve client goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed media strategies that resonate with client objectives and business aspirations.
  • Guide the media team in the planning, purchasing, and optimization of media initiatives across various platforms, including digital, television, print, and social media.
  • Build and maintain robust relationships with clients, ensuring a clear understanding of their requirements and delivering insightful media strategies.
  • Oversee the evaluation of media performance metrics, deriving insights to enhance and refine campaign approaches.
  • Negotiate and secure advantageous media placements, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximum reach for clients.
  • Remain informed about industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics to keep the agency at the forefront of media advancements.
  • Collaborate with creative, account management, and analytics teams to ensure cohesive and effective campaign execution.
  • Mentor and cultivate the media team, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Manage the media department's budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in a startup environment within an agency is highly valued.
  • A minimum of 8 years in media planning and buying, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success in crafting and implementing multi-channel media strategies.
  • Strong analytical abilities to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Proficiency in media planning and buying software, along with analytics tools.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
