Your Role:

The Strategy Team Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational management of client requirements and plays a key role in guiding the Strategy team. You will report to either the Associate Director of Strategy or the Director of Strategy.

This position is hybrid, requiring three days in the office each week. Specific details regarding accommodations will be discussed during the interview process.

Your Contributions:
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of media channels within strategic plans.
  • Enhance your proficiency in various media research tools.
  • Support the Director of Strategy and the VP of Strategy.
  • Oversee a team of direct reports, focusing on:
    • Onboarding
    • Performance Management
    • Training processes and tools
    • Workload management and delegation
    • Accountability for team outcomes and deliverables
    • Coaching the team to meet client and agency expectations
  • Manage multiple accounts, transitioning between them to perform the following:
    • Provide initial insights on media strategies.
    • Offer guidance to clients in shaping their marketing priorities.
    • Develop strong relationships with clients on assigned brands.
    • Oversee the overall media strategy, approach, and planning for each account.
    • Manage the media channel mix and initial budget allocation.
    • Represent the interests of other capability teams in client and agency meetings.
    • Collaborate with internal leaders to ensure strategic alignment with client needs.
    • Advocate for continuous improvement in personal, team, and client deliverables.
    • Contribute to new business and organic growth initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
  • 4-5+ years of experience in media planning or strategy.
  • Familiarity with the complete marketing process and the strategic role of media.
  • Expertise in media software and MediaTools.
  • 0-6 months of experience managing at least one direct report or a keen interest in team management.
  • 0-1+ year of exposure to cross-channel media.
  • Experience with digital activation.
