Position Summary:

Game Seven, a subsidiary of Excel Sports Management, is a comprehensive creative, experiential, and digital agency passionate about sports and culture. We excel in both monumental moments and intricate details, emphasizing the importance of relationships that matter for brands that matter. Our diverse team includes creatives, strategists, producers, designers, project managers, influencer managers, filmmakers, and more. We proudly collaborate with renowned clients such as Nike, Jordan, Spotify, Meta, Instagram, TikTok, Amazon, Timberland, Hennessy, Oakley, Footlocker, Chime, Fanatics, Bleacher Report, Uninterrupted, and others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 2-3 Social Strategists, ensuring the development of engaging social content that enhances our clients' online presence.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Strategy to align on strategic initiatives and deliverables.
  • Transform innovative social concepts into actionable content calendars and strategies that drive audience engagement.
  • Maintain awareness of platform-specific nuances, understanding that strategies must be tailored to each social media channel.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive social playbooks, outlining our approach, content strategy, tone of voice, and creative ideas.
  • Write compelling social copy, including captions, pitch decks, and scripts that resonate with target audiences.
  • Stay attuned to social trends, culture, and entertainment to identify opportunities for engagement and innovation.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to clients, helping to define their brand's vision and roadmap for social media success.
  • Oversee multiple client projects across various sectors, ensuring high-quality execution and adherence to timelines.
  • Develop and implement processes that enhance team efficiency and creativity.
  • Support the growth of our Social Strategy specialty, including expertise development and recruitment.

Qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of experience in social media, whether in agency, technology, media, or brand environments.
  • 2-3 years of experience managing direct reports.
  • A portfolio showcasing social media work across various industries, including CPG, fitness, fashion, and music.
  • Proven ability to create social strategies and plans in presentation formats.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and growth.
  • Proficiency in designing effective Google Slides presentations.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their unique features.
  • A genuine passion for social media, culture, music, and sports.
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and pitching abilities.
  • Experience in influencer and creator collaborations.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $170,000 annually, with eligibility for benefits and discretionary bonuses.
