Position Summary:

The Head of Media Strategy acts as the media authority and collaborator for our clients, delivering comprehensive media insights and leadership. This role is pivotal in shaping strategic direction while inspiring fresh ideas and challenging both the team and oneself to produce groundbreaking work for our clients. The Head of Media Strategy excels in relationship building and problem-solving, providing strategic oversight to comprehensive media initiatives, innovative concepts, and market solutions tailored to a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our clients on a leading global brand within the U.S. market. You will have the opportunity to cultivate culture and guide a world-class brand that unites people. This position involves working with an iconic brand poised for significant developments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with senior client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with clients to define annual budgets and staffing plans that align with their needs and those of the agency.
  • Introduce innovation and thought leadership to propel modern marketing solutions for our clients.
  • Confidently balance the expectations and business objectives of both the client and the agency.
  • Direct and support the creation, presentation, and upkeep of communication strategies that build competitive advantages, including insight development, innovation roadmaps, strategic initiatives, and relevant ideas.
  • Partner with internal teams to derive insights into brand extensions through evaluations and recommendations of cross-platform concepts, requiring a collaborative and adaptable approach.
  • Manage and mentor a team alongside Directors in Planning and Investment, fostering development across varying experience levels.
Qualifications:
  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in advertising, marketing, business, psychology, or a related field.
  • 10-12 years of experience, including leading large accounts and teams.
  • Exceptional client service experience with a proven track record in developing strategic media plans.
  • Experience across diverse media types (national, local, digital, direct, programmatic, shopper, etc.).
  • Ability to anticipate and swiftly respond to evolving client needs, adapting resources and strategies as necessary.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Capability to translate data into actionable business solutions that enhance strategies and meet objectives.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide teams in delivering high-quality outcomes.
