We are currently seeking a motivated full-time Sales Development Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a proactive and results-driven sales professional with a passion for building and nurturing client relationships. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Sales Development Agent will collaborate with a skilled team of specialists in quality assurance, engineering, and business administration to manage key accounts and develop new partnerships across various industries. Responsibilities include:

  • Creating and implementing sales strategies to acquire new clients and enhance existing relationships, meeting revenue targets and expanding market presence.
  • Identifying new business opportunities to grow the customer base through networking, sales visits, and collaboration with the sales team.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with current clients to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Assisting clients with inquiries and resolving sand-related issues.
  • Working with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that highlight our offerings.
  • Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our products.
  • Overseeing trials and testing with potential clients.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms for the company.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities to make strategic decisions.
  • Reporting significant developments in client accounts and market conditions to the management team.
  • Implementing continuous improvement strategies to enhance sales processes and customer experiences.
  • Contributing to strategic planning discussions with senior management.
  • Engaging with industry associations to promote company interests.

Qualifications:

  • Residing in the Midwest region.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1 to 10 years of proven success in sales or account management, preferably in the foundry or mining sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and sales growth.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent presentation abilities for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiarity with industry processes and products.
  • A proactive attitude with a desire for continuous learning and growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check.
