Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the OSIsoft/AVEVA PI engineering efforts, providing support for OSI PI commissioning and site training.
- Conduct comprehensive studies and deep dives with global clients, offering consulting on PI System deployment and integration strategies.
- Independently develop and design PI Systems along with GxP Documentation.
- Draft and manage the lifecycle of validation documents, including installation and operational qualifications.
- Provide resource estimates and technical configurations for client quotations to the Business Development Team.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors during project initiation and execution phases.
- Fulfill the roles of System Analysts and Software Consultants, ensuring timely and within-scope project delivery.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement technical requirements.
- Offer operational support to the SLA Team, ensuring that all team members are well-informed of their roles.
- Manage smaller projects from inception to completion, keeping the Project Manager updated on timelines and potential changes.
- Proactively identify and address quality and timeliness issues related to project deliverables.
- Make informed decisions regarding the implementation and configuration of PI systems at client sites.
- May receive guidance from the Regional Manager and tasks from the Project Manager.
- Contribute to quotations or proposals for prospective clients in collaboration with Business Development.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 standards in all work processes.
- Engage in continuous improvement of internal processes by reporting corrective actions and enhancement ideas.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of OSIsoft/AVEVA PI, with a proven track record in supporting OSI PI commissioning and training.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with the Business Development team to identify project scopes.
- Strong understanding of industry trends and customer requirements.
- Experience in setting and tracking KPIs for team performance.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SCADA, PLC, OPC, and DCS systems.
- Minimum of 48 months of experience supporting PI Projects and Systems.
- Proficient in implementing and troubleshooting OSI PI Interfaces.
- Advanced understanding of SQL Databases in relation to PI systems.
- Capability to create detailed installation and configuration instructions.
