Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Communications Coordinator to support our Marketing Department in achieving the strategic objectives of Service 1st Federal Credit Union. This role is essential in enhancing our brand presence and community engagement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Development: Collaborate in crafting, refining, and editing communication materials to ensure consistency with our brand identity. This includes producing flyers, press releases, newsletters, and blog posts.
  • Campaign Implementation: Assist in executing advertising and promotional initiatives, representing the credit union at various community and branch events.
  • Social Media Management: Create and schedule engaging content across multiple social media platforms, while monitoring performance metrics and reporting on engagement.
  • Video Production: Work with various departments to plan, film, edit, and produce video content that showcases our products, services, and events.
  • Website Maintenance: Support the upkeep of the credit union's website, ensuring content is current and optimized for search engines.
  • Administrative Support: Provide organizational assistance to the Marketing Department, including managing marketing materials and fulfilling requests from branches and staff.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in organizing and promoting credit union events and seminars.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of experience in marketing, public relations, or a related field is preferred. A two-year degree in Marketing, Communication, or Business is desirable. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Premiere) is required, along with experience in managing social media accounts.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and website content management.
  • Interpersonal skills to foster relationships within the organization and the community.
