Job Overview

Position Summary: The Front Desk Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk area, providing exceptional service to residents and guests while overseeing the front desk team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of community policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the functionality of life safety systems, taking necessary actions to guarantee the safety of residents, guests, and staff.
  • Implement and enforce resident guest policies to enhance security and safety within the community.
  • Lead and guide the front desk team to foster positive relationships with other departments, ensuring a high standard of service delivery.
  • Manage staff scheduling to meet the operational needs of the community while minimizing overtime.
  • Review and approve departmental schedules to align with business objectives.
  • Enhance resident satisfaction through effective relationship management and prompt resolution of concerns.
  • Set high performance standards and ensure adherence through consistent follow-up and training.
  • Respond to inquiries and correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
  • Encourage staff professionalism and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Ensure all documentation is accurately maintained and updated in management systems.
  • Regularly process violations and work orders as required.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Document daily activities and any irregularities, including property damage or security concerns.
  • Facilitate the reception and delivery of packages to residents.

Work Environment: This role primarily involves indoor work, requiring both standing and sitting throughout the day.

Physical Requirements: The position demands occasional lifting, bending, and reaching, with the ability to handle items weighing up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the capacity to follow instructions are essential.

Employment Type: This is a full-time role, with work hours determined by the needs of the community.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma required; AA or BA degree preferred.
  • Strong supervisory experience is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English may be required at certain locations.

Supervision: The Front Desk Supervisor reports directly to the Property Manager.
