Job Overview

Work Schedule: Mixed shifts / PM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Assist the front office manager in onboarding and training new staff members.
  • Address customer inquiries: offer directions, recommend and secure dining reservations, and arrange travel plans. Facilitate special requests from residents, including but not limited to airline bookings, transportation arrangements, lodging, event tickets, golf outings, tours, and delivery services.
  • Organize special events or projects as designated.
  • Provide insights about the local area, suggesting sightseeing opportunities and coordinating tours.
  • Deliver all concierge services with professionalism and integrity, acting as an ambassador for the community.
  • Respect the privacy and preferences of all residents.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and service providers.
  • Maintain a consistently friendly and approachable attitude.
  • Communicate resident and guest concerns to management in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate move-in and move-out processes with management approval.
  • Manage lost and found items, maintaining a detailed log.
  • Track incoming and outgoing packages, notifying residents and keeping accurate records.
  • Assist with the preparation of newsletters and other mailings, including stuffing and labeling.
  • Compile and submit weekly activity reports as required.
  • Review event calendars, daily updates, and reservation sheets to provide informed assistance to members.

Supervisory Role:

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but serves as a mentor for other team members.

Work Environment:

This role is situated within a luxury community, which may include high-rise buildings or homeowner associations. The position requires interaction with guests in various weather conditions throughout the day.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands outlined here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

While executing job duties, the employee is regularly required to communicate verbally and audibly. Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands are necessary, along with reaching and stretching. Occasional sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be required. The employee must be able to lift and/or move items weighing up to 30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move items over 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities needed for this role include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type:

This is a full-time position that regularly requires early morning, late-night, and weekend shifts.

Travel Requirements:

Travel is primarily local during business hours.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector.
  • Proficient in commonly used software applications in the industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to convey information clearly.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for fostering a luxurious and enjoyable lifestyle for residents.

Reporting Structure:

The employee will report directly to the Property Manager of the community.
