Job Summary

We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative to join our Strategic Account Management organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth with influential sellers on Amazon Business through strategic insights and high operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Account Engagement: Collaborate with customers to design and implement solutions that solve educational procurement challenges.
  2. Drive and Accelerate Spend Adoption: Advise customers on best practices for using Amazon Business solutions to increase spend adoption.
  3. Deliver Accurate Weekly Reporting: Provide weekly reports on growth pipeline and customer spend adoption.
  4. Work Closely with Sales Team: Collaborate with sales team and sales leadership to provide status updates and insights learned during deployment.
  5. Focus on Automation: Automate service needs for customers and work with Product Management and Technical teams to develop solutions that increase solution adoption.
  6. Meet or Exceed Targets: Meet or exceed targets for customer and/or feature spend adoption.
  7. Relay Market Needs: Relay market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management, Technical, and Category Management teams.
Requirements
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully identifying, developing, negotiating, and closing opportunities across a wide spectrum of customer engagement levels.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully positioning and selling solutions to new and existing customers and market segments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of sales experience selling to EDU senior leadership.
  • Experience selling to procurement and/or supply chain roles.
  • Expert use of MS Office Suite, CRMs, and other systems.
  • Experience with customer-facing communication, including leading in-person or virtual customer meetings, product demonstrations, or trainings.

Compensation

The base pay for this position ranges from $62,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $132,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors, including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
