Position Overview:


The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for cultivating independent account business, focusing on overall profitability through both new client acquisition and deepening existing relationships.

This role involves promoting and selling company-branded products while achieving brand sales targets.

Additionally, the manager may assist in customer service initiatives for regional and/or national chain clients, enhancing the company's visibility in the market and maximizing market share.

Acts as a collaborative team member within the department and organization, fulfilling any assigned duties to best support the company’s objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Drives business growth by analyzing sales territories and individual client needs; showcases products to current and prospective clients; formulates comprehensive sales strategies including time and territory management; customizes sales approaches for individual clients; and delivers impactful sales presentations.

Continuously increases sales and profit margins to meet established targets.


Establishes new customer accounts by determining pricing structures; collaborates with the Credit Department for initial approvals; coordinates with other personnel for order processing, deliveries, etc.

Conducts initial follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction with delivery and product quality.


Guarantees customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, working closely with other team members to coordinate efforts in preventing and resolving customer issues.

May be responsible for making deliveries in urgent situations.

Enhances business with existing clients through product penetration to maximize the profitability of individual accounts.

Reduces accounts receivable issues by monitoring compliance with credit terms and addressing any concerns promptly.

Maintains awareness of pricing trends within the sales territory, particularly for market-driven or commodity products, to ensure competitive pricing.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent

6-12 months of experience in sales/marketing and/or the foodservice industry

Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Sales/Marketing, or a related field

1-2 years of experience in foodservice sales/marketing and/or the restaurant sector
