Ferguson, a leader in the distribution of lighting and fan products, has been serving various sectors across the US and Canada for over three decades. We focus on the multi-family construction and showroom markets, while also expanding our reach into light commercial projects and national accounts.
We are in search of a Central Region Sales Manager to support our operations in a remote capacity. The preferred candidate should reside within the Central time zone, ideally in proximity to TN, IL, IN, MN, or MO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide independent manufacturers' representatives to enhance our wholesale customer network
- Formulate account strategies with significant clients using customer-focused sales methodologies and understanding customer purchasing criteria
- Collaborate with the sales team to devise sales tactics and meet objectives
- Boost sales and market share through creative strategies
- Oversee territory sales and representatives to achieve targets
- Participate in customer engagements and industry gatherings, while maintaining accurate records
- Stay updated on market dynamics and competitor offerings
- Support customer service with post-sales assistance and technical knowledge
- Produce necessary sales and management documentation
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in regional management within the commercial lighting sector
- Experience in the Multi-Family / Multi-Tenant construction industry is advantageous
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent experience
- Experience engaging with independent clients, wholesalers, and manufacturers is beneficial
- Ability to adapt to market shifts and inspire a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
