Position Overview:

The primary responsibility of the Regional Sales Leader is to promote and sell medical devices and associated services to healthcare professionals, including physicians, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. This role requires establishing and nurturing relationships with these healthcare providers while frequently being away from the company's main office to fulfill job responsibilities.

The Aortic Intervention division of Cook Group specializes in innovative Endovascular treatment solutions aimed at addressing abdominal and thoracic aortic diseases.

The product portfolio encompasses endovascular grafts and essential accessories (such as wire guides, catheters, dilators, introducers, and molding balloons) designed to facilitate implant procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while expanding existing client relationships.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an annual business strategy for the designated territory.
  • Achieve and surpass established sales targets.
  • Engage in national, state, and regional sales exhibitions.
  • Submit timely expense reports.
  • Stay informed about the managed healthcare landscape.
  • Provide education to clients through discussions, presentations, and informative materials.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as necessary.

Qualifications:

Minimum Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; or equivalent experience that provides a comparable background.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience working independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

In accordance with ADA reasonable accommodation requirements, candidates must be:
(a) physically capable of operating a motor vehicle regularly,
(b) possess a valid driver's license,
(c) in good standing to legally operate a motor vehicle.
Frequent lifting of product sample cases weighing between 20 and 50 lbs is required. Occasional standing for extended periods, sitting for prolonged durations, and utilizing close visual acuity for computer work is necessary. The role is primarily office-based but may require occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
