Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with District Sales Managers (DSMs) to devise and execute localized, market-oriented strategies for after-sales support.
  • Establish, train, oversee, and sustain a local network of service providers for Hayward products.
  • Act as a resource for decision-making, troubleshooting, and escalation processes.
  • Offer insightful product feedback aimed at performance enhancements and innovative concepts.

The Regional Technical Support Manager collaborates closely with DSMs to formulate market-specific strategies that drive sales and improve overall customer service for Hayward products. Regular 'business review' meetings are conducted to assess progress and implement necessary adjustments.

Local Management & Resource Oversight

The Regional Technical Support Manager supervises the network of service providers, assessing needs, recruiting, training, and assisting them with technical inquiries and escalations. Furthermore, this role involves working alongside DSMs to support trade customers through site visits, training sessions, and participation in sales-driven activities.

In this capacity, you will serve as a local 'corporate' representative for Technical Services, actively engaging with customers, addressing issues, and providing on-site assistance when necessary.

Qualifications

Required Skills/Qualifications:

To thrive in this position, a high school diploma is mandatory, with a preferred four-year degree or equivalent experience in the pool industry. Additionally, a minimum of five years of technical experience in field management within the pool sector is essential. Proficiency in swimming pool products, technology applications, MS Excel, and PowerPoint is crucial. Strong presentation and teamwork skills are also required.
