We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team at North American Slate LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the Southeast region.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identify new business opportunities, and stay in constant contact with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Sales Strategy: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, build lasting partnerships with customers, and create a sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Travel and Account Management: Travel frequently throughout the Southeast region to meet with customers, contractors, suppliers, and architects to promote our slate products and services.
- Negotiation and Pricing: Negotiate prices and conditions with customers within the framework of sales management specifications.
- Sales Planning and Reporting: Prepare sales reports, accurately project sales forecasts, and monitor projects in the pipeline to ensure successful sales outcomes.
- Lead Management: Manage leads within assigned territories, send information and samples, coordinate logistics, and manage shipping to ensure timely delivery of products.
- Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in sales and/or project management.
- Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, computer proficiency with Excel, and a success-oriented attitude.
- Personal Qualities: Enthusiasm, flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to travel and engage in face-to-face contact.
We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 to $60,000 per year, contingent upon experience, as well as great benefits including medical and dental insurance and paid time off.
North American Slate LLC is a leading producer of premium quality slate and products for the design of aesthetic living spaces. Our main office and slate yard are located in New York State.
