Job Overview


The Assembly Operator is responsible for operating machinery and production equipment while adhering to quality and productivity standards in a manufacturing setting with minimal supervision.

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE)
- Cease operations and promptly report any significant injury risks.
- Notify about any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
- Adhere to HSE guidelines, policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Foster a culture of mutual support by looking out for colleagues.
- Address hazards within your control and capability.
- Be aware of how your work affects the environment and strive to reduce negative impacts.
- Participate in HSE training sessions.
Quality Assurance

- Comply with all relevant standard operating procedures, process documentation, and quality protocols such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke, and visual standards.

- Raise concerns to mitigate cost and quality risks.
- Conduct quality inspections.
- Identify and manage non-conforming materials.
Production Delivery

- Operate both manual and automated machinery to manufacture and assemble products, ensuring they meet customer specifications.

- Exhibit a high level of proficiency in essential work skills.
- Meet production targets.
- Adhere to required cycle times or established engineering standards.

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks, and perform scheduled operator care and maintenance activities.

- Remain adaptable and undertake various tasks as needed to achieve production objectives.
- Collaborate with peers, skilled trades, and support personnel to identify and maintain equipment requiring repairs.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with the assigned team and all support teams.
- Complete training and personal development in alignment with business needs.
- Actively engage in initiatives to enhance quality, safety, process efficiency, material flow, and employee growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Prior assembly experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of engine components is beneficial.
