Microboard is known for its relentless pursuit of innovation and excellence, utilizing the latest equipment and technology in the industry.We are currently seeking 5DX Operators to join the growing team at Microboard.Position Summary:
As a 5DX Operator, you will operate Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment and identify defects on circuit board assemblies. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and familiarity with inspection processes and software systems.Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate 5DX X-ray machines with proficiency.
  • Load and run circuit board programs, logging defects as needed.
  • Identify and record defects; report trends in false calls to programmers.
  • Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
  • Maintain compliance with Microboard, OSHA, and MSDS safety policies.
  • Contribute to a positive and safe work environment.
  • Assist with component identification and troubleshooting.
Job Qualifications:
  • IPC 610 Certification is required.
  • Component Identification training is required.
  • Proficiency with Microboard MIS (Aegis) software is essential.
  • Experience with programming, computers, or coding is highly desirable.
  • Strong diagnostic and analytical skills are key for this position.
Open Positions:
  • 1 5DX Operator (2nd Shift): 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM, pay is $20 per hour.
  • 2 5DX Operators (1st Shift): 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, pay is $20-$25 per hour.
Level Distinction:
  • Operator (0-3 years of experience): Performs inspection tasks under moderate supervision using the 5DX machine.
  • Advanced Operator (3-5 years of experience): Independently performs inspection tasks with high accuracy and speed.
  • Operator Programmer: Creates, defines, and optimizes 5DX programs, troubleshooting and implementing process improvements based on findings.
