Position Overview:

Top Gun Staffing Group LLC is collaborating with a forward-thinking technology firm to find a Systems Engineer to oversee their system control operations. In this role, you will ensure that critical challenges are effectively communicated to cross-functional teams to enhance system efficiency. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives and troubleshooting projects by identifying root causes and working alongside various teams to implement performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the functionality of automated systems, including adapters, vertical lifts, and robotic vehicles.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex system and operational challenges.
  • Articulate technical concepts clearly to site teams and clients.
  • Document issues and collaborate with engineering teams to develop solutions.
  • Provide training and support to operators on system components, including automated adapters and warehouse management systems.
  • Step in to fulfill key onsite roles as necessary.
  • Engage closely with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in escalating issues to support teams to address production-impacting challenges.
  • Contribute to initiatives aimed at continuous improvement and standardization of warehouse automation solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols in alignment with OSHA and client requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience with automated systems.
  • Proficient in PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens), robotics (ABB), and programming languages such as SQL, Linux, and Python.
  • Hands-on experience in assembling, operating, and troubleshooting robotic and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Able to perform under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and assist team members as needed.
  • Strong sense of urgency and commitment to excellence.
Additional Information:
  • Valid driver's license required for travel to client locations.
  • Employees must manage their own expenses with reimbursement on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Physical requirements include frequent walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Must comply with all safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out and fall protection measures.
  • Ability to work at heights and navigate restrictive spaces.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures.
Work Schedule:
  • Rotating shifts: 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off.
  • Shifts may include early morning or overnight hours.
Compensation:

Salary range is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
