PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Comprehend and comply with all safety protocols and procedures to safeguard oneself and colleagues.
  • Inspect products for quality issues and promptly notify the operator or coordinator.
  • Achieve packing standards consistently.
  • Operate a punching machine effectively.
  • Load materials onto conveyors and flamers as required.
  • Maintain cleanliness on designated lines and around machinery, including mopping when necessary.
  • Clear scrap materials from the production area.
  • Grind and remove plastic as needed.
  • Assemble and unitize cartons as directed.
  • Initial and date the labels on boxes.
  • Complete unit tickets as necessary.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Capable of handling materials weighing 30-40 lbs.
